We are disappointed to announce we have had to make the decision to cancel both our regular and festive events for 2020 due to the coronavirus restrictions.

We are still hoping to run a limited number of events

We are hopeful we will be able to run an event for NYE however we will release further details depending on the restrictions as we approach December.

Christmas Day In Burntwood Bar 

Limited Tables still available 

We are hosting a Christmas Day Carvery in Burntwood Bar. Join us for a 4-course festive dinner, including Starter, Main, Dessert and coffee with mince pies. Along with a visit and gift from Santa for all children booked.

Places are available at £54 for Adults & £29 for Children Under 12. Full payment is required on booking. Pre-orders are required before the date. Burntwood Bar is open from 12pm on Christmas Day & the last serving is at 2pm.

Homemade spiced parsnip and butternut squash soup – Served with a bread roll

Seafood assortment – A selection of seafood with a pomegranate and celeriac salad, accompanied with a dill creme fraiche dressing

Chicken and ham carbonara tartlet – A cream tart topped with rocket and parmesan

Yorkshire pudding – Served with gravy

MAINS

Carvery style dinner – Have your chosen meat carved by our chefs. Choose from:

Roast Norfolk turkey

Sliced roast English beef

Sliced pork loin

Served with all the trimmings, carvery style festive vegetables and rich gravy

DESSERTS

Gin & lime cheesecake – Set on all butter biscuit finished with candied lime & chocolate decoration

Salted caramel & chocolate torte – A smooth mousse filled with a salted caramel centre, glazed with chocolate topped with a chewy fudge brownie

Homemade sherry trifle – Garnished with strawberry & cocoa powder

Traditional Christmas pudding – With a creamy rum sauce

Selection of cheese & biscuits – With plum and apple chutney, grapes & celery

Boxing Day In The Hotel

We are hosting a Boxing Day 4-course lunch in The Hotel. Join us for a 4-course festive dinner, including Starter, Main, Dessert and coffee.

Places are available at £34 for Adults & £18 for Children Under 12. Full payment is required on booking.

Grilled lemon sole fillet – Topped with prawns in a lemon & dill butter

Chocolate Fudge Cake – Rich chocolate sponge layered and covered in chocolate fudge icing served with pouring cream

Bakewell Tart – Butter pastry case filled with raspberry jam and almond sponge topped with flaked almonds and an apricot glaze served with pouring cream

Traditional Sherry Trifle – Sponge soaked in sherry layered with mixed fruit, strawberry jelly & custard topped with whipped cream and cocoa powder

A Selection of Cheese & Biscuits – A selection of cheeses served with biscuits and real ale chutney

Terms & Conditons
Full payment is required within 14 days of making a provisional booking. All payments are non-refundable or transferable.
The person who makes the booking is responsible for making all payments i.e collecting the money of the party and making one payment.
The lead of the party may add on to their existing booking so long as we have availability to do so and add ons must be paid as and when they are added.
Also payments need to be either cash or card, we no longer accept cheques.
