WE ARE BACK OPEN!
As a member, you know our Club is large with spacious studios and equipment areas. This means we’ve been able to adapt our club and class capacities to apply social distancing without compromising your exercise experience in any way.
We are all aware we aren’t living in normal times and therefore we have made the following decisions on this basis to help protect our members, guests and staff.
Face coverings are to be worn throughout the building with the following exceptions:· On the gym floor·· In the Studios (Studio 1, Studio 2, Spin Studio and The Box)· On Poolside· While seated at a table in the Lounge Bar· Children under the age of 11· Proven health reasons
- All classes must be pre-booked. Anyone who hasn’t pre-booked will not be permitted to take part in the class
PLEASE NOTE: If you have not pre-booked your class you will be asked to leave the class
- Opening Times are as normal
Monday to Friday 6.30am – 10.00pm
Saturday & Sunday 8.00am – 8.00pm
- Social distancing rules must be strictly adhered to at all times.
- You must NOT attend the club if you or anyone you have been in contact with shows signs/symptoms or has had a positive test for COVID19 in the last two weeks
- By attending the club you agree to adhere to our operational procedures (see attached). Anyone not adhering to the procedures and not following government guidelines will be asked to leave and their membership will be revoked.
- The new regulations for the Bar area require it to be TABLE SERVICE only. Do not approach the bar.
Members can order food and drinks via the QR code/App found on the table or via a member of staff who will bring a menu to the table.

What about my membership fees?
In order to help members build confidence and be reassured they can work out safely around The Club we have decided to open the facility Free of Charge from Saturday 25th July until 31st August 2020 for existing members.
The period from 25th July until 31st August equates to 38 days. The first 27 days of this period is complimentary and a good will gesture from us. The remaining 11 days are to be treated as compensation for the period you had previously paid for during your March 2020 subscription (21st march – 31st march 2020). Your membership will be automatically
re-activated from 1st September, you don’t need to do anything.
If you are a Direct Debit paying member the first payment we will take from you for the reactivation of your membership will be on 1st September.
If you are an annual paying member your membership will automatically resume from 1st September you do not need to do anything, 153 days will be added to your contract end date. What if I don't want to return as soon as 25th July?
If you wish to continue freezing your membership due to COVID 19 you can do so at the normal fee up until 1st January 2021 by contacting our sales and reception team. If you are in receipt of a shielding letter, there is no charge to freeze your membership until 1st January 2021.
Will I get a reduction on my membership?
We will not be offering a reduction in membership. We feel that in the circumstances there is minimal disruption to the facilities and services and so does not warrant a reduction at this time.
We have, however, decided to offer the facility Free of Charge to existing members from Saturday 25th July until 31st August 2020.
What are you implementing to keep members safe?
We have adjusted our operating procedures to fall in line with the Government and UK Active guidelines, however, we will also require our members help to ensure everyone remains safe.

It is the members’ responsibility to ensure they know what the social distancing measures are and to comply with these measures at all times.
Will I have to book to attend the club?
To assist us in effectively maintaining social distancing rules within the Club we are asking members to pre-book their visit. This isn’t mandatory but it would help us.
If you are wanting to attend a class you will just book this in the usual way. If you want to use any of the other facilities ie Gym, Box or poolside we would like you to book a gym session if possible.
Gym sessions will be available to book every 15 minutes and will be for approximately 60 minutes per session. You can book as many sessions as you like each day and you don’t have to arrive exactly at the start time of your session. We have tried to make this system as flexible as possible for members.

Are Poolside areas opening?
We will be re-opening the Main Pool, Children’s Pool & Hydrotherapy Pool. Unfortunately, we will not be re-opening the Steam & Sauna until government guidance will allow us to re-open them.
Will changing rooms & showers be open?
Changing rooms will be open however members are advised they should be avoided where possible. We will be advocating use should be kept primarily for members using the poolside areas.
Anyone using the gym only is asked to come to the gym ready to train. We advise against using the locker facilities unless they are needed for storing valuables.
Will there be a reduction in class capacity?
There will be a slight reduction in class capacity to enable us to adhere to government guidelines and stay safe. Please remember that these measures are being put in place to ensure everyone is kept as safe as possible.
When and how can i book classes?
All members will be required to pre-book classes via telephone or our online booking system. Our new class timetable will be available to view on our website from Tuesday 21st July 2020. The booking system will resume from Wednesday 22nd July at 9.30am. All classes must be pre-booked. Members will still retain the privilege of bookings 7 days in advance. Any member who turns up to a class and doesn’t have a booking they will not be allowed to participate in the class.
Will the Club cafe be open?
The Club Cafe Bar will be open as usual. What safer place to enjoy meals and drinks than your own private member’s bar.
To help facilitate social distancing we have introduced an online ordering app which enables you to order food & drinks directly from the app. The app won’t be to everyone’s preference so with this in mind we will still be taking orders at the bar.
Will the spa re-open?
The Spa will re-open on Saturday 25th July in line with the fitness facilities. We will be operating a reduced treatment menu in line with government guidance.
